This is a simple and easy project to do. The other day we were bored so we mixed up a batch of Vanilla pudding. We then separated it into four bowls and added food coloring to each bowl to give us an assortment of colors. As you can see Piper had a lot of fun squishing hers in her hands.
And then we finger painted. We didn't get the assortment of colors that we wanted because each of the food colorings mixed differently with the slightly yellow pudding. 
What a fun easy boredom buster. The kids had a lot of fun making a big mess and eating it to.
