Please forgive the blurry picture. This is one of my easiest recipes. It's what you do when need a quick dinner and you forgot to pull anything out. I adapted this from a recipe that my friend, Jayma gave me.
1 pkg. of frozen meatballs
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 can evaporated milk
salt and pepper to taste, and I usually throw in some garlic
Mix everything together and throw it in the crock-pot. Cook on low heat for 4 hours or until meatballs are warm.
Serve warm over noodles or mashed potatoes.
Now, I threw this together tonight at about 4 p.m. I defrosted my meatballs by throwing them in the microwave for about 4 minutes. It speeds up the process considerably if they are defrosted a little bit. You can make homemade meatballs and occassionally I do that, but it's so easy to use the pre-packaged ones. My friend makes her meatballs homemade and she uses 2 cans of milk, but I like the thicker consistency for gravy.
