Ignore the blurry, picture if you will. This is Bernard, he's our Magical Christmas Elf. This is a new tradition that we started this year and has been so much fun. I told my kids that Bernard was a magical elf who had come to watch them to see if they were naughty or nice. Every night Bernard goes and reports to Santa Clause on how they were that day. He moves around our house and every morning the kids have to look for him to find out where he will be watching from that day.
My 6-year-old is the one who is most into this. Every morning the first words out of his mouth are, "I've gotta find Bernard." It's been a lot of fun to hide him all over my house. This morning he was ontop of our light sconces in the living room. The kids enjoy looking for him. It's a fun new activity that I think we will keep as a new family tradition.
