Crock-Pot Cream Cheese Chicken

This was so good! My husband and my kids loved it. I got the recipe from a little mini cook-book my ward did about a year ago when we had a crock pot class. So thanks to Debbie for sharing it!
3 lbs. chicken breasts/ tenders - whatever you want to use!
1 (2/3 ounce) package Italian Salad Dressing Mix
4 Tbsp. melted butter, divided
1 small onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, chopped
1 can cream of chicken soup
8 oz. cream cheese
1/2 cup chicken broth

Place chicken pieces in crock pot and sprinkle with Italian seasoning. Drizzle 2 tbsp. of melted butter over the top. Cook on low for 4-6 hours.
Melt 2 tbsp. butter in sauce pan and saute onion and garlic. Add Cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, and chicken broth. Stir until smooth.
Add this mixture to the crock-pot and cook on low for an additional hour. Serve with rice or noodles.

I have a simpler version of this recipe but it is very similar. It is a favorite at our home. I think I am going to try your recipe too. Thanks for sharing.
