The Strangest, Most Wonderful, Yummiest And My Favorite Holiday Cookie

Have I piqued your interest with the world's longest post title? These are my favorite Holiday cookie. If you get these on your goodie plate from me, you better know you are loved, because I don't part with these babies easily! I got this recipe from my friend, Tina, several years ago and it has become a Holiday tradition. THEY ARE SO MESSY! And I think that's why the kids like to help make them. I usually only make them once a year, but we had an Enrichment activity cookie exchange and I thought I would share these.

There is no good way to take a picture of these cookies. I tried individually and in groups. I tried a close-up and that was the worst one yet. They don't look like much but boy are they YUMMY!

Candy Cane Cookies

1 tub Cool Whip
1 package mini marshmallows
1 cup crushed candy cane (grind into powder in blender)
1 package deluxe graham cookies, crushed with rolling pin

Mix first three ingredients together, drop by spoonful into graham cookies, roll in crumbs until covered. Place on waxed paper and allow to set for 24 - 48 hours.

  1. Yum, I bake a ton and have never even heard of these...I am very excited to try them! And yes, they sound so messy to make so I know my son will have a blast helping make them and eat them too, I am sure ;)
